Meet the breeder

I'm Elizabeth H., the breeder behind Croisan Creek Border Collies located in Salem, OR. Health and temperament are paramount at CCBC. Our dogs are sensitive, affectionate, willing partners that succeed in service work, competitive avenues such as trick dog and agility, and as companions for active families. Our dogs come from working lines, chosen for their caml demeanor.

Q. & A. with Elizabeth

  • Why did you start breeding?

Breeding is an act of love and dedication to the breed, and the community. I breed to preserve and improve the lines I work with: temperament first. I need reliable, level headed, intelligent and sensitive dogs to do the service work I need, and that others rely on in my dogs. Our dogs help us live your best lives, whether it is through service work competition work etc.
  • What makes your program special?

I breed for stable, intelligent, sensitive and capable border collies. My dogs are affectionate, with sweet dispositions. They are socialized from the day they are born to ensure success in many situations. They maintain a strong work ethic from their working parentage, and channel it into many different fields, making them some of the finest and most well rounded borders on the west coast.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies have rough coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include tri-color, black and white, black, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
