Sadly, lady is not pregnant. Her hormonal or pseudo pregnancy has ended. I am very disappointed, but good things come to those who wait. Her next cycle will be roughly July 2026, at which time she will be bred again to Friar Tuck. If you have submitted a deposit and would like a refund, please let me know. If you would like to keep your spot in line for the next try, I am happy to hold your deposit and your position for puppy choice.

Lady has not developed as much as I would anticipate, which leads me to believe this pregnancy is a pseudo pregnancy. (Meaning hormonal changes, but no puppies.) there is still a chance she is carrying a small litter, and we will know more next week. If this is in fact a pseudo pregnancy, all deposits are eligible for full refund, or you can keep your spot in line for her next cycle.

Well… it looks like lady is going into heat a few weeks earlier than expected! She is flagging and showing signs of being receptive.

Merry Christmas from my little collies to you!

This week was a bit of an adventure. Tucker met a skunk, which we have lovingly named the “marijuana butt rat in the back yard.” Can confirm that peroxide baking soda and dawn dish soap does remove the chemical warfare if applied prior to hosing the fur. And Lady decided it would be a great idea to chew the leg of our formal dining table. I think this means she’s ready to learn more tricks and get to work on some service tasks. It took her about two minutes to learn the center position. Winding down with a nice Christmas tree and some movies today. I hope you all had a happy thanksgiving!

Deposit list is FULL. In order to ensure all who have paid a deposit get a puppy, we can not accept any more deposits at this time. There IS a waitlist. Once puppies are born, if there are more puppies then deposits collected, those who commit to the waitlist via message to me will have a chance to put down a deposit in order of commitment received. Happy thanksgiving!!! 🍁

Then and now! Friar Tuck loves autumn! He has grown into quite the beautiful dog!

About Lady
Lady Loxley is small in stature, with a gorgeous soft rough coat. She is extremely intelligent, and learns very quickly. She is also a "velcro" dog, and enjoys laying on my feet while I sit and read or do computer work. Lady loves water, swimming, and agility. She also excels at trick and task training. She learned to open a cupboard door in under two minutes! Lady matches the energy of the people around her, and is capable of calm energy in any location. She has an extremely sweet disposition and enjoys people, children, and even cats! Lady is CKC registered. Lady's litter will be CKC registered.

About Tucker
Triple registered: ABCA CKC AKC. Tucker is an incredible smart, sensitive and devoted dog. He comes from working lines (ABCA), but has a medium herding drive. Tucker is a velcro dog, and will follow me around everywhere. He loves to please and has a very calm demeanor. Unlike high strung collies, he will snuggle for hours, and asks all strangers to pet him (this is a privilege he honors them with). Tucker will match your energy easily. If you are calm and assertive, he is balanced and attentive. If you take him out for a hike, to play, or to a herding clinic, he will rise to the occasion. Tucker is a working SERVICE dog, task trained. He has flown on airplanes, traveled in trains, busses and cars. He does not shy away from large crowded spaces. When we are not working service tasks, Tucker is busy trick training. Tucker currently has his Novice, Novice Masters, Intermediate, and Advanced Trick Dog Titles. Tucker can have black tricolor, red tricolor, black and white, and red and white. He is safe to breed to a Merle female. He is Embark DNA clear for border collie health issues.
