I'm Kelly F., the breeder behind Cross Bar located in Ottumwa, IA. We are a small family ranch that enjoys raising quality miniature dachshunds that are highly socialized in our home from day 1. The sweet, loyal, and playful disposition of our dogs inspired us to begin responsibly breeding to expand the breed and share them with others.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I have had a love for the dogs since I was small. Aussies and mini dachshunds have always been a part of my life.. We love to provide family’s with the perfect dog to fit their life.

  • What makes your program special?

    I breed for temperament and quality. First and foremost I want amazing dispositions to make family pets. We only raise quality health tested dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $900 - $3,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.
