



I'm Nick I., the breeder behind Cross Creek located in Ashford, CT. We offer family raised health tested dogs well suited to being loved family pets, companions, or dog sport prospects. Our dogs are family first and we raise them in our home with our 2 young kids. We put a focus on health and structural conformation as well as temperament. We strive for our Border Collies to be well adjusted with medium drive and a good off switch.

Artemis absolutely loves people and is a very sweet dog. She’s good natured around children and other animals, has a good herding instinct but not an overly intense drive. In the house she’s very relaxed and settles very easily, but is always happy to go outside for a hike or a good game of fetch.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
