Getting a puppy from Melody
Melody has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $1,150 - $1,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“These prices are based upon rather or not you want a partial AKC OR FULL
The difference being only that you can breed the dog and register the litter with AKC or not.
All of our litters are registered with AKC as is all our sires and dams. We usually ask for a non refundable deposit
However it is taken off the final price day of pick up
But currently we have 7 8 week old puppies ready to to their new homes and the price is 700.00
You have to be present to Pick out your puppy, and you must in person pick up your puppy
We WILL NOT SHIP A PUPPY.”

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
DNA Disease Panel, D Locus (Dilute) DNA test
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
