I'm Chris C., the breeder behind Crowned Doxies located in Tucson, AZ. Crowned Doxies began after my dachshund helped me heal emotionally during back surgery recovery. Their love is truly soul-soothing. Now, I raise puppies with excellent health and temperament to share that same healing joy with others.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    The deep connection with my first dachshund inspired my passion for breeding. Sharing that love and unique bond with others through breeding has been incredibly rewarding.

  • What makes your program special?

    I'm dedicated to raising well-balanced puppies. I put a lot of care into ensuring each puppy is ready to bring joy to their future families, by focusing on non-verbal communication. It helps the puppies learn to read and respond to subtle cues, which can be essential for developing a strong bond with their future families.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include sable, piebald, cream, black and cream, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Chris

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $2,300 - $3,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.
