I'm Chris C., the breeder behind Crowned Doxies located in Tucson, AZ. Crowned Doxies began after my dachshund helped me heal emotionally during back surgery recovery. Their love is truly soul-soothing. Now, I raise puppies with excellent health and temperament to share that same healing joy with others.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    The deep connection with my first dachshund inspired my passion for breeding. Sharing that love and unique bond with others through breeding has been incredibly rewarding.

  • What makes your program special?

    I'm dedicated to raising well-balanced puppies. I put a lot of care into ensuring each puppy is ready to bring joy to their future families, by focusing on non-verbal communication. It helps the puppies learn to read and respond to subtle cues, which can be essential for developing a strong bond with their future families.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include sable, piebald, cream, black and cream, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Chris

Chris has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Chris partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $2,600 - $4,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.

    Chris was very responsive and very helpful throughout this whole process.     Chris from Crowned Doxies was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process of bringing Bru home. Communication was excellent from the very beginning, and Chris was always incredibly quick to respond to messages and questions. When we brought Bru home, Chris sent us with so many thoughtful goodies and even included a very special surprise that will truly be cherished forever.     Chris was the best to work with we got the sweetest little chocolate boy who we named Dunkin and he’s been the best little guy. Chris provided weekly update with him, responded quick with any questions was willing to go out of her way to meet us with him at a time that worked best for us. The second we got him from her you could just tell how much love she pours into her puppies. She sent him with the cutest little care package that also had something that was so thoughtful and made us realize we picked the best breeder to get our boy from.     Chris was very responsive and easy to work with. We were able to meet up quickly and worked together to find a location that worked for both of us. She was very accommodating!!!
