I'm Nelson C., the breeder behind Cruz Industries - Dachshund Company & French Bulldog Company located in Arcadia, CA. Welcome To Our Family Based Company Dedicated To Breeding Well Tempered Healthy Puppies. We are family based breeders in Arcadia Ca near the San Gabriel Valley. (Southern California) Our puppies are raised in our home with our kids, family, and other pets. We strive and focus on raising puppies within our home environment to ensure good temperaments and great social skills to get them used to household sounds and social interactions.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I started my journey into breeding dogs out of a genuine passion for dogs and the unique joy they bring to peoples lives. What began as a deep appreciation for the personality, loyalty, and companionship for the breeds like Dachshunds & French Bulldogs quickly grew into a commitment to raising healthy, well socialized puppies.

  • What makes your program special?

    We are family based breeders building our breeding program based on passion, purpose and pride in the breeds. What sets us apart is our commitment to quality over quantity. Each puppy is carefully planned, raised and socialized in the hands of our own family, including our kids and other pets to ensure strong temperament, health,structure and getting them used to everyday household noises and activities. Our dogs are more than just breeding stock, they are part of our family and daily lives. We focus on producing well balanced puppies with excellent conformation, loving personalities, and the kind of loyalty that the breed is known for. From early development to placement, every step is intentional. We beleive in responsible breeding practices, attention to detail, and creating lifelong connections between our puppies and their families. Our goal isn't just to breed dogs, its to continue and improves the breed lecacy while bringing joy to homes that welcome them.

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include wirehaired, smooth, and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Nelson

Nelson has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Nelson partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“We take great care in placing each puppy with the right family. Puppies are matched once they are old enough for us to evaluate their temperment and personalities, typically around 7-8 week, but we still get an understanding of them throughout the whole procces from birth.”

Puppy prices include a $800 non-refundable deposit and between $2,700 - $9,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Puppy prices vary significantly based on a combination of factors, including color, gender, coat type, structure, and DNA. We focus on producing healthy, well structured puppies with great temperments, and pricing reflects the quality and care put into each litter. . Puppy Deposit & Pickup Policy Deposits: A deposit is required to reserve a specific puppy and is applied toward the total purchase price. Once a deposit is received, the puppy is removed from the available market and held for the buyer. Because this may result in the loss of other potential buyers, deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable, except where otherwise required by applicable law, Good Dog policy, or a written agreement between the buyer and breeder. Pickup: Puppies that are already of appropriate age and ready to go home must be picked up within 48 hours of the reservation, unless another date is agreed upon in writing. If a puppy is too young or is not yet ready to go home when the deposit is placed, the 48-hour period does not begin until the puppy is of appropriate age and ready for placement. Once the buyer is notified that the puppy is ready, pickup must be completed within 48 hours, unless another date is agreed upon in writing. Puppies will not be released before they are of appropriate age and otherwise ready for placement. By submitting a deposit, the buyer acknowledges that they have reviewed and agreed to these terms, subject to applicable law and Good Dog policies. Please do not send a deposit unless you are ready and fully committed to bringing the puppy home. Owning a puppy is a big responsibility and a lifelong commitment. This puppy will be part of your family for its entire lifetime, so please make sure you are fully prepared before placing a deposit.”

Nelson may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    Nelson was very responsive and quick to answer any questions or messages. His wife was also incredibly kind and helpful throughout the process. Since we live in the same area, she graciously arranged a time for us to meet and see the puppy in person. They were also happy to FaceTime with my family beforehand so we could ask questions and feel confident about bringing the puppy into our home. When we picked up our puppy, they provided documentation of his first vaccination, along with thoughtful essentials such as food, a bowl, chew toys, and puppy pads. Nelson also made it clear that he is available for guidance and support if any questions arise after bringing the puppy home. Overall, working with Nelson and his family was a wonderful experience.
