Meet the breeder
I'm Rachel T., the breeder behind CTR Farmstead located in Sedro Woolley, WA. We are a small family farm located in Skagit County, WA. We breed ASDR Australian Shepherds. The joy we have in raising these puppies to be loving companions for any family is a true blessing. These puppies are raised in our home, around children, and exposed to many different sounds and things as they grow up.

Why did you start breeding?
When I was in Highschool I worked with an Australian Shepherd breeder and fell in love with the breed. Fast forward 15 years and our family was able to purchase our first Australian Shepherd. We bought her to be our family dog for our small children as they grew up. We also bought her with the intentions of breeding her to provide other families these wonderful dogs at an affordable price.What makes your program special?
We raise these puppies in our home. They are handled daily by children and are exposed to many sights and sounds. We take pride in breeding good temperament dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
Getting a puppy from Rachel
Rachel has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Rachel partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.

Price
"Price includes ASDR papers. First shots and dewormed along with their first health exam by a licensed veterinarian. All puppies are the same price regardless of color, size and gender."

About Lucy
Lucy is a female Australian Shepherd over 3 years old. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Rachel decided to make her part of their program. Rachel has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel, Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
