Rachel at CTR Farmstead was great to work with. She was responsive, flexible, and genuinely cared about her puppies finding the right homes. She shared details about Buck(y)'s personality beforehand, sent puppy food recommendations so we'd be prepared. Bucky has been an amazing addition to our family and we'd highly recommend CTR Farmstead to anyone looking for an Australian Shepherd. Thanks!

Rachel really stood out to us as a breeder as her litter of red tri’s were just what we were looking for and the socialization we saw through her videos was equally impressive. We feel very lucky to have Penny enter our lives. Because of the socialization Rachel provided with her farm animals and family , Penny has adapted to her new home life easily. From the over 2 hour ride home, ( Penny whimpered once and slept the rest of the way without a potty mishap) to our first nights , Penny has been a delight!

We have an older Aussie mix, and have come to love the inteligence of the breed. When I saw Rachel's pups on "Good Dog", I was thrilled to see that there was an available female. Rachel got back to me within 24 hours after my inquiry, and we chatted on the phone for quite awhile. She is so kind, and knowledgeable about the Aussie breed, I felt very comfortable. The whole process was seamless, and my family now has the most darling puppy ever...
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
