I'm Janet C., the breeder behind Cummings Family Aussies located in Vista, CA. Our dogs are excellent representations of the breed, and we are proud to offer our high-quality puppies to loving homes. When we bring a life into the world, we take that responsibility seriously and do everything we can to make sure it gets the best start possible.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We started breeding aussies because we love the breed and the high level of energy they have. They are very intelligent and super easy to train and they are excellent companions! We love their beautiful fur, loving temperaments and their wiggle butts!

  • What makes your program special?

    Our program is special because we implement the years of knowledge we have with Aussies and strive to provide the best family addition possible. We use Puppy Culture techniques to create amazing, smart, patient and loving puppies. We partner with our reproductive vet to provide the healthiest puppies possible. We look forward to the connection we make with new puppy parents and work to create a partnership in raising puppies to be excellent adult dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include black, red merle, blue merle, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Janet

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $700 - $2,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.

We require a $300.00 non refundable deposit to hold your puppy. We are happy to Facetime or meet in our home so you are comfortable with us and so we know you are a fit for one of our puppies.”

Contract & health guarantee

Janet may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
