I'm Kailynn N., the breeder behind CuttinBlue Farms located in Bonsall, CA. My number one priority is breeding to standard and healthy, happy dogs. I am the dog whisper with over 30 years of training and working with dogs under my belt. One of my dogs earned the 1 Cocker Spaniel All-Breed in 2021. I work with AKC American and English Cockers.
Q. & A. with Kailynn
Why did you start breeding?
Cuttin Blue Farms has two ranches in Idaho and California. I have been breeding and training Cocker Spaniels since my family introduced the breed to me at just 7 years of age. I spent the majority of my childhood breeding and training within the 4H and other clubs. As I learned more about responsible breeding practices, I wanted to do my part to produce healthy, well-bred puppies.
What makes your program special?
We only breed Cockers with top genetics plus amazing temperaments. Cockers were overbred in the USA for many years. We have imported some of the healthiest lines from overseas to complement our program. We don’t have any allergies, ear issues, or skin issues. Leveraging the science of genetics, health, and behavior to preserve a happy and healthy family Cockers for the future is my passion!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include blue roan and tan, red roan, red and white, buff, black and tan, black, and black white and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.
