I'm Kelly N., the breeder behind CYNDELLA COLLIES located in Bennett, CO. I am dedicated to breeding Rough and Smooth Collies to the AKC Collie Standard. While I may strive for success in the conformation ring, my breeding focus is on health, soundness and temperament which makes for wonderful lifetime companions.
Q. & A. with Kelly
Why did you start breeding?
My love of Collies started when I was a child. As a young adult I thought showing in conformation sounded like fun so in early 1996 I bought my first Collie, "Cynder". Handling her myself, she completed her championship in February 1999. "Cynder" would have her only litter in December of 2000. This litter was the beginning of Cyndella Collies.
What makes your program special?
While I may strive for the successes of the conformation ring, my breeding focus is on health, soundness and temperament which makes for wonderful lifetime companions.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include smooth and rough coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
