Kylee P.

Breeder of Chesapeake Bay Retrievers

Meet the breeder

I'm Kylee P., the breeder behind Cypress Pine Kennels located in Port Orange, FL. At Cypress Pine Kennels, our dogs have demonstrated excellence in conformation, performance, and temperament. We are committed to producing healthy, well-rounded puppies that are carefully socialized, loved, and responsibly raised before being placed in their forever homes.

Q. & A. with Kylee

  • Why did you start breeding?

When I was 12 years old, I received my first dog, an English Springer Spaniel named Al, who was gifted to me by my aunt and uncle, active breeders of the breed. I had the opportunity to observe the whelping process of Al’s litter, and from that moment I developed a deep appreciation for responsible breeding. It was then that I realized this was something I hoped to pursue one day on my own.
  • What makes your program special?

After finding Spur, my foundation bitch, who truly elevated my program. She represents the definition of an all-purpose CBR. Spur has excelled in the show ring, demonstrating correct conformation, and has also proven her trainability through performance sports. Above all, she is a wonderful companion with an exceptional temperament. She has successfully passed all health testing recommended.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Kylee

Kylee has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Kylee partners with them to find the best puppy match.

"We do not require that we select which puppy goes to each home; however, we strongly encourage families to consider our recommendations based on their goals for the puppy. Because we spend extensive time with the litter, we are able to closely observe their temperaments and personalities to help guide the best possible match."

Price

Puppy prices include a $200 deposit and between $1,800 - $2,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"Our pricing reflects the time, care, health testing, and dedication invested in our breeding program, as well as the attention and socialization each puppy receives before going to its forever home. We require a deposit once the puppies are born to reserve your puppy. This deposit also helps cover registration fees and the puppy’s health certificate."

Contract & health guarantee

Kylee may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Kylee offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Kylee directly.
