I'm Leann S., the breeder behind D4R Australian Shepherds located in Ennis, MT. I'm a home-based hobby breeder specializing in quality Australian Shepherds with a focus on conformation, color, breed standards, and health. I have been working with this incredible breed for 10 years and counting. I hope to help families find their puppies from responsible and ethical sources to help build a better and safer world for our dogs!

Why did you start breeding?
I have always been passionate about the well-being of animals. I wanted to put my passion to good use! It's been a joyful commitment, and it is a pleasure to live with, work with, and share with others these wonderful dogs.
What makes your program special?
I am an experienced breeder, and I take my role seriously. My dogs are an integral part of my family and daily life. This creates the ideal environment for puppies. From birth, they grow in a secure, loving environment where they know that they matter to their family -- that they have a purpose. I keep a variety of factors in mind when choosing dogs to breed, including health, conformation, pedigree, and the breed standard to produce the highest-quality pups that I can. I am confident that each one will become a treasured family member!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, red merle, blue merle, red, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Leann

Leann has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $600 - $900 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Puppies are registered ASCA Puppies can go home at 8 weeks of age All puppies have had their tails docked, dewclaws removed, wormed and age appropriate shots and are exposed to puppy pad training and crate training. . A $300*Non-Refundable deposit is required and is applied to the purchase price of your pup. Deposit may be made by cash, check. Balance due at time of pick-up. Balance can be paid in cash. NO CHECKS for remaining balances. Pick up in person in Ennis, Montana Or ground transportation.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
