I'm Lori B., the breeder behind Dachs on the Farm located in San Angelo, TX. My husband (Cris) and I (Lori) have always loved dogs. I am a retired teacher with a masters in agriculture, and my husband works at an agricultural company with an agricultural degree. We are always available to help with any question, no question about dogs is too crazy (training, feeding etc).

Why did you start breeding?
We started with one dachshund and from there it was history. As an agricultural teacher, I love all things science, but moreover dogs have always been a big part of my life. I wanted to give others the gift a a sweet, beautiful companion.What makes your program special?
We breed long-haired mini dachshunds with as much color and patterning as we can, we try to always pick the calmest dogs that will be you and your whole families best buddy for life.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Getting a puppy from Lori
Lori has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $600 non-refundable deposit and between $1,200 - $2,400 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Includes: AKC purebred, small bag of puppy food, blanket, bowl, collar with bell, AKC puppy packet, tote bag, beginning crate training, socialization with many animals as well as kids/adults. Deposit is none refundable, but is put towards the total cost of the puppy.”

About Archer
Archer is as sweet as it gets. There is no dog quite as cuddly or as willing to put up with anything that is thrown his way. He loves everyone. He just wants to sit in your lap all day, or bask in the sun.

About Willow
She is such a calm cutie, one blue and one black eye. She is big on being outside. She loves to sniff around the farm and then come back into the cool. She is picky eater but loves good food with either raw food or broth mixed in. Willow is such a good mom, and is very gentle.
