I'm Heather Y., the breeder behind Dachshund Dreams located in Bruceton, TN. We have been raising doxie puppies since 2018. All pups are raised in our home under foot with lots of love. They are well socialized with other dogs, cats and children. Here at Dachshund Dreams we test over 270 genetic health tests, ancestry and traits! We always thrive to breed healthier and better lines of the dachshund breed. That is our main focus in our program!

What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include wirehaired, smooth, and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include piebald, red, black, chocolate, fawn (isabella) and tan, chocolate and tan, blue and tan, blue and cream, black and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Getting a puppy from Heather
Heather has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $1,100 - $2,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Puppies will have first shots by a vet, preventative routine deworming starting at age 2 weeks, small baggie of puppy food and a blanket.
Puppies will also be well socialized with other dogs, children and cats. A $300 non refundable deposit will reserve your puppy of choice. This amount will be deducted from the asking price of your puppy. The remaining balance is due upon pick up or before puppy leaves our home.”

Parent health testing

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
