I'm Maureen Q., the breeder behind Dachshund Universe located in Peyton, CO. I pride myself on providing top-quality health and well-tempered family pets. Puppies are raised inside of our home and socialized on a daily basis. All our puppies come with their 1st set of shots, age-appropriate deworming, microchip, and a 1-year health guarantee on testable congenital diseases.   • Why did you start breeding?

    I started breeding Dachshunds back in 2008 after falling in love with my first Dachshund baby. Her name was Luna! She was full of personallity and brought so much happiness into our home. I wanted others to feel the same way. Ever since then, I started learning about the breed, educating my self on temperament, conformation and health.

  • What makes your program special?

    We raise all pups inside our home, with lots of attention to health and proper socialization. Having a personalized puppy culture helps introduce puppies to many different life situations they may encounter in their new homes. All of our breeding dogs are genetically tested. I send puppy updates to all my puppy parents, that way they get to see their puppy grow!

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies include miniature and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include cream, red, and black and cream. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Maureen

Maureen has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $3,000 - $4,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.
