I'm Martina, the breeder behind Dalmar Floridachs located in Ocala, FL. I'm a small, in-home show breeder with health-tested, quality Dachshund dogs! I focus on temperament, structure, and health for all dogs and puppies. If you need permission from spouse or landlord please do so before contacting me. All puppies are sold with limited Akc registration as PETS!

Why did you start breeding?
I started my breeding program because I wanted to produce a healthier Dachshund than was available at that time. I believe that purposeful and ethical breeding is so important for the healthy preservation of the breed, and I am dedicated to improving my lines with each generation so that the breed will continue to thrive for a long time to come.What makes your program special?
I am a professional, ethical breeder of high-quality Dachshunds that are conformationally correct dogs with stable temperaments. My involvement in the show ring speaks to the standards that I breed my dogs by, and I strive for quality and excellence with everything that I do. I am confident that each one of my pups will become a treasured family member, and many will have great show potential, too!What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Getting a puppy from Martina
Martina has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $800 non-refundable deposit and between $2,200 - $2,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“Included with your puppy are deworming, vaccines (dappv & bordatella)microchip, vet check, and a Florida health certificate, puppy take home bag, complimentary pet insurance. All deposits are non-refundable unless there is a health issue with the puppy chosen. In such a case where the puppy does not pass its health exam the deposit is fully refundable or transferable.”
Contract & health guarantee
Martina may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
