Meet the breeder

I'm Daphne G., the breeder behind Daphne Green's Cairn Terriers located in Thousand Oaks, CA. My program is built upon a foundation of love, admiration, and respect for the Cairn Terrier. I am primarily interested in showing and having great pets. I breed very infrequently trying to better the breed. I strive for quality and excellence with everything that I do. Holding myself to high standards is paramount to the well-being of my dogs and to the integrity of my program. I look forward to connecting with you!

Q. & A. with Daphne

  • Why did you start breeding?

I met another Cairn breeder when I was looking for a second dog and didn't want to go to a pet store for one. She got me a puppy and encouraged me to show it. We had a litter from her where I kept and showed a puppy. The showing was a fun hobby, and becoming a breeder was the next logical step for me.
  • What makes your program special?

My dogs are raised in my home and socialized from day one. I work with them in new environments so they aren't overwhelmed when they do go to their new homes. I will help with grooming and training issues as they come up. I am very dedicated to what I do and what I aim to achieve as a breeder. I work with passion, heart, and integrity, and I truly want what's best for the Cairn Terrier line!
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
