I'm Austin P., the breeder behind Dark Corner Doodles located in Inman, SC. We stand behind the health, structure, and temperament of our puppies and select forever homes that best complement the unique personalities of each puppy.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Our first dog was Paisley a registered Australian Shepherd we then purchased Winston our beautiful Parti Poodle and then birthed Dark Corner Doodles!

  • What makes your program special?

    Structure, temperament and health are three keys that make what we do a success! I also love connecting with families and when they buy a Dark Corner Doodle they are getting a lifetime of support from me and the other families in our community!

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Cockapoo puppies are mini size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Austin

Austin has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Austin partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“Once we received your application we will look it over, ask any questions that we may have and then once approved you will then be matched with your desired puppy!”

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,300 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes First shots/vet exam, puppy culture & temperament testing, a start on potty training, crate training, 30 days of free pet ins. and a Dark Corner Doodles Swag Bag on go home day. Deposits are taken once puppies arrive!”

Contract & health guarantee

Austin may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Austin offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Austin directly.

  • Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • DNA Coat/Trait Panel, DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
