Darlene's Labrador Retrievers

Darlene P.

Breeder of Labrador Retrievers

Meet the breeder

I'm Darlene P., the breeder behind Darlene's Labrador Retrievers located in Alburtis, PA. I do limited litters and breed for conformation so health, temperament, and quality of dog is my priority. I do not have a large breeding program, so I am very selective about the puppies I keep and the dogs I breed to. I'm very conscientious to the health clearances and the temperaments of my dogs!

Q. & A. with Darlene

  • Why did you start breeding?

I purchased a puppy from a breeder that she was going to keep for conformation. She liked me so much that she thought it would be a good thing for me to consider showing! I liked it, and that’s what I ended up doing and then bred the female.
  • What makes your program special?

Since I keep limited dogs and do not have a large breeding program, I am very selective about the puppies I keep and the dogs I breed to. I'm very conscientious to the health clearances and the temperaments of my dogs!
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
