I'm Barbara P., the breeder behind Darling Dachshunds located in Salem, OR. Every puppy we raise is adored as part of our family from birth. Our puppies will complete your home, your family, and your heart! We are dedicated to always providing our parents and our puppies with a positive experience, which includes remaining committed to responsible practices when it comes to breeding, training, and rehoming our puppies.

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

    Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include piebald, cream, red, chocolate, chocolate and tan, chocolate and cream, black and cream, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Barbara

Barbara has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 refundable deposit and between $500 - $1,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“To Follow. Deposit $500. Puppies will not leave till at least 8 weeks old. I often keep them longer. This extra time is for the mothers to play and get plenty of extra loves.”

Contract & health guarantee

Barbara may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
