I'm Lynn F., the breeder behind Dashin' Dachsies located in Blackfoot, ID. We lovingly raise long hair Dachshunds in our home. We're passionate, responsible breeders who truly love our dogs and what we do! Each puppy is greatly loved by us! We ensure they are socialized, healthy, and prepared to excel in their forever homes. Our dogs are bred for those specifics, and we take pride in our breeding program.
Q. & A. with Lynn
Why did you start breeding?
We bought our first Dachshund 27 years ago and decided to start breeding 5 years later. We've put a lot of time, care, and research into starting our program. Breeding healthy, happy puppies is our way to give back to the breed and the families who love them. We want nothing more than to see each of our dogs and puppies shine!
What makes your program special?
We love our dogs and support them for their life. We do everything we can to make sure that they get the best lives possible. That includes everything from choosing healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization and daily care, to placing them in loving homes with wonderful families. We strive to provide each of our puppies and their families with a truly positive experience!
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are cream. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

“This includes the health guarantee, first vaccines, deworming, puppy socialization, and a puppy pack.
We will work with delivery and meeting part way. We will fly with a puppy at the buyer's expense or meet at airport, as well, but do not ship alone. All of the pet puppies are the same price regardless of color or size. There is a price difference for puppies placed with full AKC breeding rights. Breeding rights are based on a one-on-one evaluation of a puppy and potential breeder.”
