Meet the breeder

I'm Cheyenne D., the breeder behind Davenport Hollow located in Eutawville, SC. We raise AKC Labrador Retrievers with a focus on health, temperament, and purpose. Our pups are raised in-home and socialized with people, dogs, and various farm animals to ensure they're confident, well-rounded, and ready to thrive in their new homes.

Q. & A. with Cheyenne

  • Why did you start breeding?

My passion for animals started young, but it was my childhood Labrador, Lady, who left the biggest mark. As I got older, I wanted to share the loyalty, love, and purpose that Labs bring into a home. Breeding became a natural path—one rooted in producing healthy, well-tempered dogs for families and service work.
  • What makes your program special?

Our purpose-driven program produces Labs with the health, temperament, and structure to thrive. Raised in our home, they're socialized with people, dogs, and farm animals—like goats, bunnies, pigs, and mini mules—helping them grow into confident, well-rounded companions.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
