Meet the breeder

I'm Angela S., the breeder behind Dawn 2 Dusk Ranch located in Colorado Springs, CO. We strive to produce healthy, quality dogs of excellent temperament, intelligence, and conformation. Our puppies are versatile for service dog training, conformation and performance competitions, working livestock, family pets, and companions for active lifestyles.

Q. & A. with Angela

  • Why did you start breeding?

I grew up helping my mom breed cocker spaniels. My piano teacher gave me a deaf double merle Aussie, who eventually had to be re-homed due to her digging out to chase the neighbor's horse with no ability to recall her. My goal is to protect the breed to reduce chances of similar occasions happening, to and provide families with healthy, loving companions.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black & white, red merle, blue merle, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
