Daystar Dobermans

Tamara E.

Breeder of Doberman Pinschers

Meet the breeder

I'm Tamara E., the breeder behind Daystar Dobermans located in Valley View, TX. I breed with the family in mind: My dogs have been carefully bred to ensure a stable temperament. I take my role as the breeder of your Daystar puppy seriously, I am always available to help you anytime. This can range from ear advice, training resources, vet referrals, or where the next show is.

Q. & A. with Tamara

  • Why did you start breeding?

As my father's kennel helper. As a teenager, I preferred horses. I bred Dalmatians briefly in the 80's. I moved to North Texas on 2 acres of land, and as my equine activities waned, I began to get back into canines. I chose the Doberman for the guard capabilities, intelligence and that gorgeous easy to care for coat.
  • What makes your program special?

I carefully chose dogs that would be the best fit for families, having the Doberman guardian temperament, but toning down any sharpness so they can be family and children friendly. These lovable goofballs all live as housepets, not kennel dogs. I keep my puppies super clean, well fed, on the appropriate medical protocol so they go home in top form, and desiring to be clean. Easy to housetrain!
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black and rust and red and rust. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
