Q. & A. with Heather
Why did you start breeding?
I got into breeding after getting a very expensive puppy from what I was told was a show quality dog. After seeing the conditions and the flaws that were not to standard, I wanted to do better for the breed. I wanted to show it is possible to breed for the Dog and not the money. I love my Aussies and Aussidoodles and they are raised as family me members.
What makes your program special?
I am a unique boutique breeder. I do not cut costs, or do things on my own to save financially. Each puppy is handled and raised up as an individual pup. I take each one to the vet for check ups, and shots. I provide a health certificate with each puppy that goes home. I raise them inside the home with us. I only breed one to two litters per year so that I can focus on the the quality of pup and training.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies are miniature size. Aussiedoodle puppies are mini size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies include blue merle and red merle. Aussiedoodle puppies include blue merle, red merle, black phantom, black tri-color, red phantom, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.
