I'm Mark B., the breeder behind De luxe dobermans located in Peru, IN. We are dedicated to producing quality Dobermans with excellent health, temperament, and structure. By combining carefully selected European and American bloodlines, our goal is to raise well-rounded companions that excel as loyal family pets and lifelong friends.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I got into breeding after spending years researching Dobermans and, unfortunately, losing a couple of my own beloved dogs. Those experiences made me want to learn everything I could about the breed. After a lot of research, guidance from others, and many years of thinking it through, I decided I wanted to do my part to help preserve and improve the breed I love so much.

  • What makes your program special?

    Our dogs and puppies are raised on our family farm, where health and temperament come first. From birth, they are surrounded by love and exposed to children, other animals, everyday farm sounds, and country life. This early socialization helps them grow into confident, well-rounded companions.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include black and rust and red and rust. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Mark

Mark has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Mark partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.

A deposit secures your spot on our reservation list, and puppies are matched based on reservation order, temperament, personality, and your preferences. Selections are typically made around 6 weeks of age, once we can properly evaluate each puppy and help ensure the best possible match. ”

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,500 - $3,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA), Vet Wellness Exam

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • Dilated Cardiomyopathy 2 (DCM2), Dilated Cardiomyopathy 1 (DCM1), von Willebrand Disease I (vWD I)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
