Meet the breeder

I'm Mark D., the breeder behind Dearinger San Diego Yorkies located in San Diego, CA. Showing dogs is a huge investment and the perfect way to have the dogs evaluated by expertly trained AKC Judges & Veterinarians. This is a great way to keep myself on track for making educated decisions on working towards producing the breed standard, great temperment & healthy dogs.

Q. & A. with Mark

  • Why did you start breeding?

I breed in hopes of finding my next show dog as well as improving the breed. It is important to me not only that I preserve my own phenomenal bloodlines, but that I am improving this breed with each litter and ensuring the well-being of these dogs for generations more to come!
  • What makes your program special?

I am a premier, experienced breeder of top-quality Yorkshire Terriers. My involvement in the show ring speaks to the standards that I breed my dogs by. I have participated in all the top shows, including the Westminster Kennel Club in New York I determine what characteristics are deemed best for each litter through working with judges, veterinarians, and other breeders.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
