Meet the breeder

I'm Deanna S., the breeder behind Deaz Doodle Ranch located in Connersville, IN. Our goal is to create healthy, loving, and well rounded family pets to bring joy for many years.

Q. & A. with Deanna

  • Why did you start breeding?

In the beginning it was a way to keep busy while staying home to raise my human children. As my humans grew and needed me less, I could focus more energy on the program and it has grown. It was the perfect solution to being a stay at home mom and keeping my mind busy. I have loved every minute of both journey's. "You never work a day in your life, if you love what you do."
  • What makes your program special?

We go to great lengths to use guardian homes and we do not keep dogs in kennels just for breeding purposes. All of our dogs are pets first and breeding dogs second. Also, we have impeccable standards for dogs to qualify as breeding quality. They must have an outstanding temperament along with great conformation and loving spirit. This sets us apart from the rest.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Bernedoodle puppies include tiny, mini, medium, and standard sizes. Cockapoo puppies include tiny, mini, and standard sizes. Goldendoodle puppies include petite, miniature, medium, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Bernedoodle puppies include red, black and white, tri-color, phantom, blue merle, and merle. Cockapoo puppies include merle, silver, sable, black, black and tan, black and white, black white and tan, blue roan, blue roan and tan, brown, brown and tan, brown and white, brown roan, brown roan and tan, brown white and tan, buff, buff and white, cream, golden, red roan, red, and red and white. Goldendoodle puppies include cream, apricot, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.

Deanna was easy to reach and responded in a reasonable time to messaging. Our “little 15 lb” 3 month old has been a much needed joy in our home. Milo is super smart and has already caught onto multiple obedience commands and he loves to perform. He is growing and leaps and bounds and I can’t wait for him to start traveling with us when it’s safe.

Deanna was very responsive and made the process very easy. They even set up delivery on our timeline! All information was very clear and complete. They allowed us to video call and virtually meet our new puppy before reserving.

I loved working with Deanna, she was very quick to answer all my questions as I was searching for my new buddy! Meeting a few puppies and making my decision was a great experience. I picked up my 7 month old cockapoo, Ryno, this morning and things are going great! He is very calm and loving. He has met lots of family today and everyone loves him already.

Great communication. Loved knowing his personality before adopting. He’s 6 months old and only been here 3 weeks and he’s been potty trained a week already. Super smart and so affectionate. Just what we wanted. He listens really well. He’s a little scared of new people. Gets along well with our older larger dog.

Deanna was extremely helpful and had a lot of knowledge about the breed. She was attentive and helped us find our best friend. You can tell she genuinely cares about the puppies!

Deanna was very easy to work with and very responsive. I was able to have a video call with her and meet Lawrence, now Desmond (Desi). She was also very accommodating regarding pick up, which was so helpful to us. We brought Desi home earlier this week complete with all of his current vet/shot information, food and blanket. He is an adorable, very loving, funny and vocal boy who is settling in and taking over! LOL. We love him. I definitely recommend Deanna.
