



I'm Brittany H., the breeder behind Deep Hollow Labrador Retrievers located in Frederick, MD. Deep Hollow Labradors is nestled deep at the base of scenic Sugarloaf Mountain in Frederick County, MD. We are a hobby breeder, focused on quality working Labradors, bred for hunting, sport and family companions. We actively train, work, and trial our dogs in multiple venues, as well as conformation showing.

River comes from a long line of Hunt & Field Champion Labrador Retrievers . River is dual registered with AKC & UKC. River is a ball of spit fire! She is a high drive female that is ready to work! At All Times! River has a very good on/off switch as well. She can be calm and quiet in the house, and can be a big couch potato with you too.

About Missy
Missy is one of our own breedings from our beloved Alli x Haygan Litter. She comes from a long line of working Labradors. Missy is dual registered with AKC and UKC. She is extensively health tested (see below). Missy is a high drive female and extremely willing to please. This girl loves to work no matter what event we are doing she always gives 110%. She can go from Scent Work to Conformation Showing without skipping a beat. We recently started Dock Diving. This Sport is truly addictive and SHE LOVES it. She will put her game face on and do her job. She also has a good "Off" Switch. She can come home and hang out with her family and turn into the Lovable Labrador we all Love!

Brittany has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Dentition
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
