I'm Tami D., the breeder behind DeLeeuw Family Miniature Pinschers located in Wayland, MI. At DeLeeuw Family Miniature Pinschers, our dogs and puppies are raised in our home as part of the family. We focus on health, loving care, daily handling, and early socialization. Both parents have completed DNA health testing, and we remain committed to every puppy throughout its life.

Why did you start breeding?
My love of dogs and the joy of raising and caring for puppies first led me to breed Cocker Spaniels. Years later, my love for the Miniature Pinscher’s intelligence, loyalty, confidence, and lively personality inspired me to raise this litter in my home with individual attention and affection.What makes your program special?
My puppies are raised inside my home as part of the family. They receive daily handling and early exposure to children, other dogs, household sounds, different rooms, surfaces, and safe outdoor experiences. Both parents have completed DNA health testing. I carefully screen buyers and remain committed to accepting every puppy back at any time during its life.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include blue and rust, chocolate and rust, and black and rust. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
Getting a puppy from Tami
Tami has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Tami partners with them to find the best puppy match.
“I take great care in placing each puppy in a safe, loving, and permanent home. I ask prospective buyers specific questions about their household, children, other pets, experience with dogs, daily schedule, training plans, and veterinary-care plans. Approved buyers may request an available puppy, and I will discuss the puppy’s personality, energy level, and individual qualities to help determine whether the puppy is a suitable match. A puppy is officially reserved only after the buyer has been approved, the purchase terms have been accepted, and the $500 deposit has been received. I retain final approval of every placement to protect each puppy’s health, safety, and long-term well-being.”
Price
“$2,200 companion price includes limited AKC registration, health and vaccination records, and puppy starter items. Full AKC registration with approved breeding rights is $2,500. The $500 deposit reserves a specific puppy and applies to the purchase price. It is non-refundable if the buyer cancels. If I cannot provide the puppy, the buyer may choose a refund or transfer.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
