I'm Anna P., the breeder behind Delinda Shih Tzus located in Hampton Bays, NY. Welcome to our home-based Shih Tzu breeding program. Our dogs are not kennel dogs—they are our family, living a full, joyful life by our side.We specialize in raising healthy, well-socialized Shih Tzu puppies. Every puppy is born in our home and cared for around the clock from the very first breath.
Q. & A. with Anna
Why did you start breeding?
Breeding for me isn’t a business — it’s something deeply personal, meaningful, and full of heart.
My dogs are not kennel dogs — they are my babies, my shadows, and part of my family’s daily life. I’m a very nurturing, detail-oriented person, and I bring that same energy into raising each litter: from monitoring pregnancy and supporting labor, to round-the-clock newborn care, early socialization, and helping each puppy grow confident and well balanced.
What makes your program special?
My dogs live inside my home, sleep in my bed, and are part of the family. Puppies grow up surrounded by normal home sounds, gentle handling, and constant love — not in cages or isolated spaces. I’m a very nurturing, attentive person, and I treat every puppy as if they were staying with me forever. That means round-the-clock newborn care, early bonding, constant monitoring, and a peaceful environment for mom.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include gold and white and black white and silver. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
