Meet the breeder

I'm Maritza, the breeder behind Delta Doodless located in Clovis, CA. At Delta Doodles, our program is centered around raising exceptional, family-ready companions through intentional, hands-on care. As a stay-at-home mom to three and a proud military wife, I run this program as a one-woman show most of the time—allowing me to be fully present through every stage of each puppy’s life. Our puppies are raised inside our home, never in kennels, and are exposed daily to children, household sounds, and real-life environments. This early foundation plays a huge role in developing confident, well-adjusted temperaments that transition smoothly into their forever homes. We focus on quality over quantity, carefully selecting pairings based on genetics, health, and temperament to produce beautiful, well-balanced Mini Double Doodles. Every puppy is raised with structure, consistency, and a level of care that truly sets our program apart. At Delta Doodles, we’re not just raising puppies—we’re raising companions that become part of your family.

Q. & A. with Maritza

  • Why did you start breeding?

I got into breeding because I wanted to raise puppies the way I would want one raised for my own family. I quickly became passionate about learning everything I could—genetics, temperament, early development—and creating a program centered around quality care. As a stay-at-home mom, I’m able to be involved every step of the way, and that hands-on experience is what truly shapes the puppies we raise. They grow up in a real home, around kids, everyday life, and constant interaction, which makes such a difference when they go to their forever families
  • What makes your program special?

What makes our program special is the level of intentional, hands-on care each puppy receives from day one. As a stay-at-home mom running this program as a one-woman operation most of the time, I’m able to be fully present through every stage—pregnancy, whelping, and early development. Our puppies are raised inside our home, not in kennels, and are exposed daily to children, household sounds, and real-life environments. We focus heavily on early socialization, structure, and creating confident, well-adjusted temperaments. We also prioritize quality genetics, health, and coat standards to ensure families receive not just a beautiful puppy, but one that transitions seamlessly into their home and lifestyle
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Double Doodle puppies include miniature and medium sizes. Labradoodle puppies include miniature and medium sizes. Goldendoodle puppies include miniature and medium sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Double Doodle puppies include merle, parti, phantom, red, cream, and apricot. Labradoodle puppies include parti, red, apricot, and chocolate. Goldendoodle puppies include cream, apricot, red, chocolate, phantom, merle, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
