Meet the breeder

I'm Becca, the breeder behind Depot Dachsies located in South Easton, MA. We use an application to ensure puppies have loving and responsible homes. We have a 2 year health guarantee and pups come vet checked and with: their first shot, 30 days of puppy insurance, AKC application, microchipped, a bag of the food they’re on, lifetime support, and a goodie bag. Puppies must be picked up at our home or we can meet at a local airport for a fee. Pick-up is at 8 weeks after the pups have been vetted. We'd love to be your breeder!

Q. & A. with Becca

  • Why did you start breeding?

I’m a lifelong Dachshund lover. My Mom had Dachshunds when I was growing up which is where my love of the breed came from. I had a Mini Dachshund (Ellie) when I got married and she was my baby before I had kids. My daughter’s baby pictures have her in them. When she passed we had difficulty finding a local breeder. That’s when I decided to get into breeding coupled with my love of the breed.
  • What makes your program special?

We strive to breed the best quality pets and companions. We want to better the breed and strive for good conformation and great temperaments. We love a lap dog that loves belly rubs and likes to play. Our dogs are a part of our home and an integral part of our family.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies include miniature and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies include wirehaired, smooth, and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include cream, red, black and tan, black and cream, chocolate and tan, and chocolate and cream. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
