My journey into breeding began with my love for the Miniature Australian Shepherd breed. The more I learned about them, the more I wanted to be part of raising exceptional Aussies and sharing that experience with other families. What started as a love for the breed naturally grew into the passion behind Desert Diamond Aussies.What makes your program special?
What makes Desert Diamond Aussies special is that each puppy is raised with individual attention and genuine care. I take pride in getting to know their personalities and finding families who are the right fit. I want every puppy to leave here loved, confident, and ready to become a cherished part of their new family.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

“ASDR Registered Mini Aussies. Vet checked, dewormed, tails & dewclaws done. Parents health tested through Orivet. Raised clean, socialized & loved daily. A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your puppy. Deposits are applied toward the purchase price and secure your place in the matching process.”

About Bernie
Berniece is an incredibly intelligent, loyal, and protective girl who loves her family deeply. She has a silly, playful personality and always keeps us laughing. She loves nothing more than curling up in my lap whenever I sit down. Berniece is also a wonderful, attentive mom who is gentle and devoted to her puppies. Her favorite thing to do is go riding on my side-by-side, where she gets to be right in the middle of the fun! Bernie is ASDR registered.

Dallas is an attentive, sweet, and incredibly loyal boy. He adores his people and is happiest right by my side, usually found at my feet wherever I go. He has such a kind and gentle soul and loves going “bye-bye” and being included in whatever we’re doing. Dallas is also a wonderful dad—calm, patient, and gentle with his puppies. His loving personality and steady temperament make him a truly special part of my breeding program. Dallas is ASDR registered.

Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Hereditary (Juvenile) Cataracts (HC; JC), PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1), DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
