I'm Kristy L., the breeder behind Desert Doxies located in Fallon, NV. Our dogs are bred for health, temperament, and are handled from the beginning. We believe in early socialization. They are raised in our home and around our family creating a loving foundation that travels from our home to yours.

Why did you start breeding?
I got my first dachshund as a child in the 1980’s. My second came in 2004, and I completely fell in love with the breed. Since then, We have been focused on raising well-bred, healthy, happy, and loving companions. Puppies are raised and handled daily in our home where they are well loved and prepared to go to their new forever families.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include piebald, red, chocolate, brindle, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,600 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.
