Maryah P.

Breeder of Yorkshire Terriers

Meet the breeder

I'm Maryah P., the breeder behind Desert Star Yorkshire Terriers LLC located in Killeen, TX. We’re a small-scale program with a big love of this breed! Our dogs are our passion, and our goal in breeding is to make sure all of our puppies have a home and loving family for the entirety of their life. We put a lot of time, care and love into them from the moment they're born. We cherish each of our dogs and puppies and we do everything we can to make sure they have the best lives possible. That includes everything from choosing healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization and daily care, to placing them in loving homes with wonderful families.

Q. & A. with Maryah

  • Why did you start breeding?

My father also breeds dogs so I was exposed very early to responsible breeding, what a good breeder does and how to be a genuine breeder that doesn't cut corners. This made me want to continue breeding and learn more.
  • What makes your program special?

Our love of this breed sets us apart. We are genuine breeders that don't cut corners and only want the very best for our puppies. We put a lot of time, care, love and energy into each and every puppy having the life they deserve.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
