I'm Jessica D., the breeder behind DeVoy Country Labs located in La Plata, MD. We love this breed and the experience of having litters! Our mission is to raise pups that are set to become the best companions. We are a simple, family-run breeding program offering loving and loyal companions to others. We focus on quality care and health with each litter we raise.

Why did you start breeding?
Jessica grew up with labs. Even helped out during breeding. We got our first lab Max 9 years ago and fell in love. Breeding was always a goal once we were established. Fast forward and we now have 8 acres, our forever home, and the flexible schedule. Perfect combination to be able to breed our girls and care for puppies.What makes your program special?
Our litters are born inside our home and stay there until they go home. They are very well socialized with our friends, family and other animals. We introduce them to new smells (plenty of them around our small farm). Once old enough they are handled daily, ears, tails, paws touched daily, and nails clipped. We give them a lot of love and attention.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
DNA Disease Panel, Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), Centronuclear Myopathy (CNM), D Locus (Dilute) DNA test
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
