I'm Jessica D., the breeder behind DeVoy Country Labs located in La Plata, MD. We love this breed and the experience of having litters! Our mission is to raise pups that are set to become the best companions. We are a simple, family-run breeding program offering loving and loyal companions to others. We focus on quality care and health with each litter we raise.

Why did you start breeding?
Jessica grew up with labs. Even helped out during breeding. We got our first lab Max 9 years ago and fell in love. Breeding was always a goal once we were established. Fast forward and we now have 8 acres, our forever home, and the flexible schedule. Perfect combination to be able to breed our girls and care for puppies.What makes your program special?
Our litters are born inside our home and stay there until they go home. They are very well socialized with our friends, family and other animals. We introduce them to new smells (plenty of them around our small farm). Once old enough they are handled daily, ears, tails, paws touched daily, and nails clipped. We give them a lot of love and attention.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Jessica has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $900 - $1,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Jessica may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
