I'm Amanda R., the breeder behind Diamond 5R Ranch AKC & CKC Miniature Dachshunds located in Columbia, LA. We offer top-quality, loving family pets with a focus on health and temperaments. We adore each and every one of our dogs! Our dogs are bred for health and temperament with a focus on conformation, athleticism, and intelligence. We are dedicated to providing our families with wonderful, healthy family pets.

Why did you start breeding?
Our passion for Miniature Dachshunds started when we got our first long haired dachshund years and years ago, and we fell in love with their loyal, playful, smart, funny and friendly nature. Since then, we have been dedicated to breeding top quality, healthy, beautiful, and happy Miniature Dachshunds for families to enjoy.What makes your program special?
We take great pride in our breeding process, which starts with carefully selecting our breeding pairs. We only breed Miniature Dachshunds that meet our high standards for quality, health, temperament, and conformation. Our Miniature Dachshunds are raised in a loving and nurturing environment, receive regular veterinary care, and have frequent socialization with human and animals.What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Getting a puppy from Amanda
Amanda has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $400 non-refundable deposit and between $1,100 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes AKC or CKC Registration, Proof of Vet Exam, Health Guarantee per contract, 30 days pet insurance, UTD on wormings and vaccinations, puppy starter pack including puppy food, blanket, toy, collar, puppy pads and waste bags. Deposits are nonrefundable. It is applied to cost of puppy.”

I had the best experience with Mrs. Amanda. We're a family of five with a senior dog. We were in search of a new addition to our family. After losing my little pie girl, I had been looking for that perfect pup for quite some time. When I saw Mary, I thought that she could be the one! I contacted Amanda and asked her so many questions.
