This dog really is a great family member and a gentle, loving companion. Sure, the breed’s obedience skills might leave something to be desired, but many people have managed to put obedience and agility titles on their beagles. All this breed needs is a patient owner and a handful of liver snacks.

Why did you start breeding?
Growing up I showed horses in hunter/jumper. After a knee injury, I was unable to compete at the level I had previously enjoyed. My competitive side and my love for the beagle led me to the world of AKC conformation. Through good friends and mentoring I have grown to enjoy this sport and the joys the whelping box brings.What makes your program special?
I am a hobby breeder that only breeds a litter when I am looking to the future (about every 3-4 years). I have worked hard over the last 10 years to develop the knowledge and understanding of health testing, pedigree research, and the AKC standard that I uphold. I am an AKC Breeder of Merit and test all my Breeding Dogs with Embark. Puppies are raised in my home and well socialized.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include 13-inch and 15-inch sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from KATHY

Price
Puppy prices include a $500 deposit and between $1,350 - $1,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“Price includes puppy, puppy pack, AKC registration, health guarantee and lifetime breeder support. Deposit is refunded on a case by case basis if necessary. I would not want someone to take a puppy home just because they put a deposit down.”
