Diamond M Toy & Mini Aussies

Meet the breeder

I'm Lexi W., the breeder behind Diamond M Toy & Mini Aussies located in Alpena, AR. Our dogs are bred for health, temperament, and conformation. We strive to have the best dogs for any family as well as being up to breed standards! We want people to see our dogs and fall in love with them just as much as we have!

Q. & A. with Lexi

  • Why did you start breeding?

My best friend started breeding Mini Aussies and I fell In love with the breed. I always loved the smaller ones more since our dogs are inside so I got started breeding toys soon after. We have quite a few chickens that free-range and the toys can work just as hard as the bigger Aussies at herding. They are such a fun, loyal breed to have around.
  • What makes your program special?

Our breeding program is special because we don’t have very many breeding dogs so it’s not your typical overrun kennel. We have a relationship with each of our dogs. They are part of our family and spend their days doing everything we do. They go to town with us, play in the yard with our kids, sleep on our couches, and everything else that a family pet does.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies include blue merle and red merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
