I'm Mary N., the breeder behind Diddle Bros Dachshunds located in Kingman, AZ. At Diddle Bros Dachshunds, we raise longhaired miniature dachshunds with health, temperament, and structure at the heart of every decision. Our dogs are health tested and our puppies are raised right in our home, where they are loved, socialized, and prepared for life with their families.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Diddle is my Australian Cattle Dog, my best friend, and the honorary big brother to all of the weens. Growing up, I had two dachshunds, Brownie and Rasco, who were Diddle's first brothers and my introduction to the breed. When I started my own program years later, naming it "Diddle Bros" felt like the perfect way to bring it all full circle.

  • What makes your program special?

    We're intentionally small and hands-on. Every pairing is chosen with health, temperament, structure, and the future of our program in mind -- not simply to produce puppies. Our puppies are raised in our home, evaluated as individuals, and matched thoughtfully with their families. We're equally invested in the dogs we produce after they leave us, and our puppy families always have a place here.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include cream, red, chocolate, brindle, black and cream, chocolate and cream, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Mary

Mary has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Mary partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape.

“Our matching process is tailored to each litter and family. With proven, predictable pairings and experienced or flexible homes, families may be able to choose their puppy earlier. For newer pairings or homes with specific needs, we wait until personalities develop and temperament testing is complete. My priority is always making sure each puppy is a great fit for their family.”

Price

Puppy prices include a $750 non-refundable deposit and between $3,250 - $3,750 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes a one year health guarantee, first round of puppy vaccinations, microchip, AKC registration (limited unless further discussed), and a little puppy package! The $750 deposit is non-refundable (except sickness/death), and only accepted once buyer's application has been accepted.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • DNA Profile, Full Embark Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    Mary was super awesome, from our first FaceTime so I can see the puppy I was interested in, until the day of pick up! She stayed in contact sent videos and pictures even had to keep him a week or two longer than arranged and she was great about it! Payment was easy and we couldn’t be happier with Mr. Coney aka Louie 😊 we don’t know what we’d do with out him!
