I'm Christina M., the breeder behind Dirty Dogs Pups located in Newkirk, OK. Our dogs are bred to have top qualities that all families want in their puppies, such as compassion, patience, and love! Our dogs are our companions in every adventure! We decided to start breeding as a way to help other families experience the love and companionship of a dog.
Q. & A. with Christina
Why did you start breeding?
I volunteered at a vet clinic as a kid until I was old enough to be hired on part time. I got the opportunity to learn a lot about all different types of dogs and what makes them healthy. I got into the breeding side while I was in high school because I got a really smart Labrador Retriever that was my best friend and was always with wherever I’d go..she was the most obedient dog and just loved to learn new things. I thought she would make a great mother and it gave me the opportunity to share this amazing dog with so many more people by raising pups from her.
What makes your program special?
We focus on all the steps the owner will take in making that pup a part of the family. Such as introductions to riding in the car to events, potty training, teaching boundaries like not to jump up for attention but rather stay clam and that is when the attention is shown. We introduce all things that come with the process of being groomed so that is not a hassle for the future groomer or owner.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Goldendoodle puppies are medium size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Goldendoodle puppies include apricot and phantom. Yorkshire Terrier puppies include liver, parti, blue and gold, and black and gold. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Good level
Dirty Dogs Pups reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Goldendoodles.
Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
