Q. & A. with Deanna

  • Why did you start breeding?

Working with a mentor and co-breeder.
  • What makes your program special?

We put a tremendous amount of time into breeding a better Aussie. With each litter we are breeding to produce offspring that are as good or better than each parent. We use outside stud service and occasionally lease or co-own females to breed. We also enjoy showing and competing with our dogs, earning titles is the acknowledgment of peers that we are successful.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include red merle, blue merle, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Deanna is very passionate and cares about the Aussie breed. The process to get a puppy was straightforward, and I met Deanna at her home with her dogs and puppies. She does an amazing job at taking care of all of them, which I find amazing because it’s quite a lot of work. Nonetheless, the dogs and puppies are well taken care of. The first visit I had was just a meet and greet with the puppies, and I asked as many questions as I could. Deanna was nice enough to steer me to a good puppy, because they’re all over me and makes it quite difficult to differentiate. The second visit was when I picked up the puppy and she went over all the paperwork, food, and toys for the pup. Overall, Deanna is a wealth of knowledge, and it shows she is an example of what a good and reputable breeder is. I highly recommend her! Also, she’s super friendly and nice! 😃
