I'm Joan L., the breeder behind Diva Dogs located in Live Oak, FL. We breed and raise Dachshunds and Maltese pups that are healthy and have good conformation according to AKC standards. We are a small enough program that we are able to thoroughly focus on each individual dog and puppy's needs. We take pride in the time and dedication we give to every litter.

    Our Dachshund puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our Dachshund puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Dachshund puppies include cream, black and cream, black and tan, and dapple. Maltese puppies are white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Joan

Joan has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,050 - $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“All puppies come with 1 year health guarantee , Florida Health Certificate , first set of vaccines, all pups have been wormed once every two weeks, until they leave to their new homes, All puppies get lots of kisses and cuddles and socialize with family members, adults and Children. On the Dachshund puppies the required deposit to hold is 300.00, and balance due at time of pick up, On my Maltese puppies deposit is 500.00,.”

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
