I'm Patricia F., the breeder behind Divine Doxies located in Little Rock, AR. Divine Doxies breeding program is a small breeder of quality long-haired miniature dachshunds. We breed for temperament, comformation and health to the AKC standard.

Why did you start breeding?
My husband had dachshunds before me and when we got together we started with short haired pups and then stopped for awhile. Now we have moved on to long hairs and that is all we have to breed. Love to see the smiles on the new owners faces.What makes your program special?
We love all of our dogs, they love us and are very well cared for. We cannot imagine life without them. One does not have to live on a small farm in rural Arkansas with a house full of dachshunds to lead a happy life, but it helps. All of our dogs live with us in our home, and all of their puppies are raised in that same environment. As a result, they quickly become socialized to other dogs and people (adults and children).What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Price
"The price varies depending on gender, color, and type of registration. Females generally go for more than males, dapples are more expensive than solid colors. We take deposits only on existing puppies. The deposit does apply towards the purchase price. In the event that a customer changes their mind about buying a puppy, we will refund the deposit upon the sale of said puppy to the next buyer. If the sale is interrupted by any action on our part, the refund will be immediate."

PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
