I'm Devon K., the breeder behind DK Miniature Dachshunds located in Florida. Our mission is to raise healthy, happy, adorable Dachshund puppies and connect loving families with their new best friends! We cherish each of our dogs and puppies, and we do everything we can to make sure that they get the best lives possible. That includes everything from choosing healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization and daily care, to placing them in loving homes with wonderful families. We strive to provide each of our puppies and their families with a truly positive experience!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I have always been interested in animals in all aspects. Although the breeding just kind of started when our female grew very attached to our fosters. Her personality and loyalty is what I wanted others to experience with her offspring. Then it just turned to a hobby I truly enjoy and love.

  • What makes your program special?

    My breeding program is special because I'm not doing this for money but more for giving others the ability to experience a one of a kind personality and pure enjoyment. I strive to make my pups stand out. My dogs get dressed and just true people pleasers.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Devon

Devon has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $2,200 - $2,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes the AKC registration, first found of shots, health certificates, deworming and all around puppy social skills. I do ask a deposit to hold the puppy. The deposit is non-refundable.”

Contract & health guarantee

Devon may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Devon offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Devon directly.
