I'm Shanti P., the breeder behind Dogos Casa Monarca located in Kings Mountain, NC. At Dogos Casa Monarca we breed for ourselves and to produce the most versatile and well adjusted dogs ready for any work. We do not breed often, but when we do it is a carefully selected breeding with fully health tested dogs that are proven. The founder of Casa Monarca is a professional dog trainer of 10y in the field with a specialty in behavior modification. Having worked with a wide range of performance dogs, behavioral cases, and more, Casa Monarca’s goal is to raise puppies in a way that will set them and their owners up for success no matter what their goals are. We have developed and continue to perfect early socialization protocols to ensure the best possible outcomes for every puppy that is raised in our home. About Mona
Monarca is definitely the queen of the house. She is incredibly loving and sweet with every dog and human she meets. She especially loves kids. She is a fun and biddable dog who loves competing in a wide variety of sports such as conformation, fast cat, CAT, barn hunt, dock diving, and obedience. Her owner is a full time dog trainer so she gets a lot of work. She is incredibly smart and her favorite thing in the world is to sunbathe by the pool in the mornings with her sister Maya.

About Moncho
Moncho is a loving Dogo who loves his people and is the best with puppies. He was imported from Argentina last year from world renowned kennel, Bravoure Blanche. He has started his show career successfully with multiple best of breed wins. He loves competing in other sports as well such a fast cat, CAT, barn hunt, and obedience. His owner is a full time dog trainer who he loves to go to work with.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Congenital Deafness (BAER, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
