Meet the breeder

I'm Nate B., the breeder behind Dogwood Blossom Aussies located in Colbert, GA. Our dogs are ASDR registered Australian Shepherds. They are not toy, but they are small miniatures. They will be slightly under 30 pounds and are extremely athletic. Our oldest male is 11 years old and still acts like a puppy. Our pups love being outside and playing in the sunshine, but they also love curling up on the rug to watch TV. They are small enough to be lap dogs, but also work farm animals like a full size.

Q. & A. with Nate

  • Why did you start breeding?

We started breeding because we loved our two Aussie's temperments and personalities and wanted them to have puppies to continue on their bloodlines. They have been wonderful companions and loyal, brilliant family members.
  • What makes your program special?

We only breed our pets that live in our home so we only have a maximum of one litter a year. They are held and played with daily, and are started housebreaking before they leave our home. They are show quality ASDR aussies, but they are treated like family members.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include blue merle, black tri, red tri, and red merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
