I'm D M., the breeder behind Dollhouse Miniature Dachshunds located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, CO. We breed high-quality puppies. We love what we do and are committed to producing well-bred, healthy puppies for loving homes! We are a simple, family-run, Hobby Mini Dachshund breeding program offering loving and loyal companions to others. We focus on quality care and health with each litter we raise. Each of our pups go home at 10 weeks or older, having most or all shots, microchipping, basic potty training, eating solid kibble, socialization, basic commands completed for new family!

  • What makes your program special?

    Mini Dachshunds are the ONLY breed I raise at my home in Colorado Springs with Pikes Peak in my back yard! I'm an animal whisperer and have raised beef cattle/calves, quarter horses, chickens, fish(10 acre lake), and most important dogs! My dogs are family members along with all of these gorgeous, healthy, happy puppies!

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include sable, cream, red, wild boar, black, brindle, wild boar and tan, wild boar and cream, blue and cream, blue and tan, black and tan, black and cream, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from D

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $6,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

D may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy.   • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
