I'm Donna G., the breeder behind Donna's Mini Joys located in Sarasota County, FL. I love being a breeder. It's so fulfilling to have the opportunity to see the positive effect that a beloved, furry companion can have on its family. I raise adorable, affectionate Dachshund puppies for loving homes, and I give them lots of love and attention while they are with me so that they will be ready to transition into their new lives. Please visit me on Facebook for current updates at Donna's Mini Joys. If you can't message me, you can find me, Donna Greene on there as well.
Q. & A. with Donna
Why did you start breeding?
Each of my dogs has brought so much happiness to me throughout their lives. I want to do my part to produce wonderful, healthy dogs that can bring other people joy as well, and to provide each of my puppies with loving homes where they can live happy lives.
What makes your program special?
Because my program is small, I am able to give each dog and puppy all of the attention and care that they need to develop and thrive. My dogs are my family, and I give that same love to each puppy as I prepare them to join their forever homes.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include longhaired and smooth coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Donna was amazing to work to bring our furbabies home. We actually got two sisters from her and she was very responsive and kept us updated along with pictures and videos regularly. She sent them home with lots of goodies and made this process extremely smooth. You can tell these dogs are her passion and very well loved and cared for.

Donna is an excellent breeder that takes good care of her puppies. Since the first text I had with Donna, she was helpful and answered all my questions. She sent me, once or twice a week photos and videos of my puppy. When I got the puppy, I saw the love and care that Donna put into raised this puppy. I got a beautiful, healthy, pre spoiled and potty trained puppy. Amira is a wonderful puppy and she brings a lot of joy to my family. Thank you Donna for the great job and dedication that you put on these gorgeous puppies!

Donna‘s Mini Joys was an awesome breeder to work with, we highly recommend her! Donna is extremely knowledgeable and it’s quite evident she cares well for her puppies and loves them until she has to say goodbye. Donna, or Mama Donna as we lovingly refer to her, sent us many pictures during our waiting period and kept us well informed. We felt like she became part of our family as well. We have had Tilly for 2 1/2 weeks now and we are totally in love. Thank you for taking such good care of her until we could bring her home! XO
